The Palafoxiana Library of Puebla is considered by UNESCO as a Documentary Heritage of Mexico. Founded in 1646, it is the oldest public library in Latin America and the only one that reflects the cultural and intellectual heritage of Europe, through a selection of more than 41,000 volumes of ancient books that were compiled in stages.
