Oops, better add one church shot and while in there pray for relief from lunching on too much fat soaked food, just incase that's what we choose for lunch. A notoriously religious place, there are 79 churches in Puebla city centre. This one is Templo Conventual de Nuestra Señora del Carmen. This Puebla templo started out as a small chapel dedicated to the Virgin of Remedies, who was called upon and cured a local Poblano official who then dedicated himself to building her a chapel. The land and original building was then given to the barefoot Carmelites when they arrived in the late 1500s. The foundation was laid 26 June 1586.
