Puebla de Zaragoza Teatro Principal. The building project is by Vicente Martínez, a stagehand from the company then operating at La Lonja. The new theaterwas inaugurated 25 August, 1799,and was named Principal in 1853 to differentiate it from other theatres that were beginning to appear in the city at the time. The theatre compliments Puebla de Zaragoza's 1987 UNESCO World Heritage Site designation.
