Kiosco de Chignahuapan, Puebla is a wooden gazebo in the city Plaza de Armas (Zocalo). The kiosco is Mudejar style, developed during the Christian kingdoms of the Iberian Peninsula. The 1871 built colourful kiosk is supported by eight wooden pillars, with a raised platform and pieces that form a puzzle of blue, red, and ochre tones. It's original, unique and very striking, standing out among all the architecture and buildings around the Plaza de Armas. The kiosk is topped by a crescent moon a common symbol in the Arab world, and perhaps no natural object has been as revered, from ancient times to the present day, as the Earth's only natural satellite. Tthe metallic figure at the top of the kiosk is a reflection of the wooden structure itself, as it is equally respected by the people of Chignahuapan.
