
Monumento a ‘La Victoria’ del 5 de Mayo, en la zona de los Fuertes (Monument to the Victory of May 5th), in Plaza De La Victoria Fuertes. The monument sits i the square of the Victory the Forts. 1 of 2. In 1930, the forts and the surrounding area were declared national property for the benefit of the people, and a War Museum was built in Loreto. In 1962, to commemorate the centennial of the battle, the museum was expanded and services were provided to the park area. Currently, the Historic Zone of the Forts houses a Regional Museum of the National Institute of Anthropology and History, the Reforma Auditorium, and the Casa Puebla. Located next to it are the Puebla Exhibition Center and a monument where the remains of Ignacio Zaragoza and his wife Rafaela Padilla rest.
