
A view into Puebla's Olympic Stadium Zaragoza in the Historic Zone of the Forts. Estadio Olímpico Ignacio Zaragoza (Ignacio Zaragoza Olympic Stadium) was used by professional football and baseball teams. On the occasion of the 1952 National Olympics in Puebla, this stadium was built in advance with a multifunctional purpose of 22 thousand spectators that was inaugurated by the then governor of Puebla, Carlo. The stadium was used by local professional baseball team Pericos de Puebla from 1952 to 1972. It was also used by Club Puebla from 1957 to 1968. Today the stadium is used as a concert arena for large scale events.
