A Monumento de San Jose Maria de Yermo y Parres in Puebla Centro. San José María de Yermo y Parres (1851-1904) was a Mexican priest, known as the "giant of charity" and "apostle of the poor", who founded in Puebla the Congregation of the Servants of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and of the Poor in 1885. He dedicated his life to founding orphanages, schools and hospitals and was canonized by Pope John Paul II in 2000.
