26 December and looking for a happy hour drink we happened upon Sanborns lounge at Avenida 2 Oriente, The room has the ambience of an earlier time. We were the only customers. This, the first Sanborns store in Puebla City opened in 1969. The opening was part of the chain's expansion during that period, bringing its total number of outlets to 12 at the time. Today Sanborns has approximately 200 locations in Mexico.
