Image Description: It has been a while since i photographed an international visitor for the project, mainly because is very weird to find them alone and most of the time i ran into very large groups of visitors, which doesn't work for me. I still was in the main plaza and saw Stan walking alone and taking pictures, he didn't seem from around here but he didn't have a tourist look. I decided to approach, just in case he didn't spoke spanish, i started talking in english on my mind to make the language change easier and not botch the conversation.
He didn't spoke spanish, but he did spoke english, lucky me i was prepared and i think i had not spoken as good english as the one i spoke with him. Stan is in Mexico for vacations for a week, he's from New Orleans were he works at the Food Stamp program, which helps people to buy food.

Tenía rato de no fotografiar un visitante internacional para el proyecto, principalmente porque es muy raro encontrarlos solos y aparte de que la mayor parte del tiempo me encuentro con grupos muy grandes de visitantes, lo cual no funciona para mi. Seguía en el zócalo y caminando vi a Stan, él estaba caminando solo y tomando fotos, no parecía de por aquí, pero tampoco tenía el look de turista. Decidí acercarme y en caso de que no hablara español, empecé a hablar en ingles en mi mente para que el cambio de idioma no fuera dificil y sobre todo para que no arruinara la conversación.
No hablaba español, pero ingles sí, suerte que ya venía preparado y creo que no había hablado tan buen ingles como el que hablé con él. Stan está de vacaciones en México por una semana, él es de New Orleans donde trabaja en un programa que se llama Food Stamp, que ayuda a gente de escasos recursos a comprar comida.
